OK, news from the Diesel Doctor.

The Bus is in good overall condition with no major problems.
The Bus needs a new exhaust system, part of which is a manufacturers part only.
The battery, which I have to say, was turning the engine over slowly is to be replaced
Also the brackets for the battery are fitted badly, with cross-threaded bolts, these are to be repaired.

The engine has been flushed through and new oil and filter fitted.
The brake pipes have been cleaned and greased.
New fuel filters (2) have been fitted.

On the interior side of things, four 6x9 Three way speakers have been purchased from
our local car accessories shop

Volkswagen LT 28

This Blog is about the ongoing conversion of a VW LT 28 mini bus into a camper.

The minibus was purchased in June 2006.

The Vehicle is a 1994 Volkswagen LT 28 mini bus it has the 2.4 straight six diesel engine.
The rear seats have been removed leaving only three behind the drivers seat.
At present the vehicle is at the Diesel Doctors undergoing some TLC.
